To ensure the highest quality of repair and maintenance of power substation equipment, «SMART ENERGY SERVICE» operates a certified mobile electrical testing laboratory. Accredited for technical independence and competence in accordance with Ukrainian legislation, our laboratory guarantees reliable and professional testing services.

The mobile laboratory enables comprehensive diagnostics and testing of power transformers, both during repair works and as part of scheduled inspections.

Equipped with specialized, state-of-the-art instruments, our laboratory can perform all necessary measurements and tests directly at the customer’s site, in full compliance with ‘’Operation & Maintenance Rules for Electrical Installations’’ and ‘’Guidelines for Diagnostics of Power Transformers, Shunt Reactors, and Instrument Transformers SOU-N EE 20.302. This ensures maximum accuracy, efficiency, and mobility, helping our clients maintain reliable and safe operation of their energy systems.

Our laboratory provides services in full compliance with its accredited scope of technical competence.

Testing of power transformers during repair is carried out in several stages:

Pre-repair testing – performed before the start of repair to assess the condition of insulation, contact connections, windings, and other critical component.

In-process measurements – conducted on the active part (windings) and auxiliary transformer equipment (such as cooling fans, tap changers, etc.) to monitor repair effectiveness and ensure reliable equipment performance.

Final testing after repair – performed upon completion of repair works to confirm that the serviced power transformer meets the manufacturer’s technical specifications.

Special attention is given to testing on-load tap changers (OLTC). Measuring OLTC parameters is one of our laboratory’s core specializations. Thanks to advanced equipment and highly skilled personnel, we are able to accurately evaluate the performance of this critical transformer component. Through regular testing during transformer operation, we help detect potential defects at an early stage and eliminate them before they lead to failures
